![]() ![]() I think Kibito's teleportation is more like "I want to go here." -teleports- Rather than "The universal coordinates for the place I want to go is: blah x, blah y, blah z" -teleports. With the Yardrat teleportation you can understand because you are using something to lock onto where you want to go. It's far more unlikely Kibito was doing this. The sort of calculations for knowing that would be astronomical. I find it very doubtful Kibito knew the exact pin-point location of the planet relative to where Earth is. Obviously, this is the interpretaion I stick with.ĭoes someone really need to know where they are going to use Kibito's teleportation? The first instance we see of this technique Kibito teleports Gohan and Kaioshin to the Kaioshin world. The third is that he searched for and sensed Goku and Vegeta's ki, and teleported to them. The second is that he teleports to random places in the universe, hoping to find them. The first is sensing the highest power levels he can find, and teleporting to them, which is what happens in the anime. With no way of knowing where he went, Buu had three options. We know that Pure Buu and Kibitokai share the same teleportaion ability because Buu copied it after seeing Kibitiokai teleport. It must also be noted that it is nowhere indicated in the manga that Pure Buu has ever been to the Kaioshin realm before, so he doesn't necessarily know where it is. Suddenly he seems to sense something, and grins, then teleports immediately to Goku and Vegeta. We see him floating around in space looking around. The unknown planet, was either a random jump, or a safe place that Kaioshin knew about before there's no way of knowing which. With Earth, the Kaioshin Realm, and New Namek he definitely knew where he was going. Next he goes to some unknown planet, and then goes to New Namek. Once to Earth, to save Goku and Vegeta, then back to the Kaioshin Realm. In each of these, he knew the location of where he was going, and thus did not have to sense ki. Once to the Kaioshin Realm with Gohan and Kaioshin, once to Earth, with Gohan, and once to return back to the Kaioshin Realm. We see Kibito teleport, IIRC, three times. The sensing is not necessary to teleport, only so that he knows where to teleport. While we know that it is possible to teleport anywhere, to find a specific person, Kibito (or one of the others) must either already know where that person is, or sense that ki to find them. The rest of this is pure speculation and research on my part. That is all the official information that is given. Kibito, Kibitokai, and Pure Buu are all capable of this technique. ![]() This is different from Instant Transmission in that it is not necessary to lock onto someone's ki in order to teleport. In order to rescue Goku and the others from the Earth-destroying attack fired by Majin Buu (pure), Kaioshin used this technique to move from the Kaioshin Planet to Earth and back again (Daizenshuu 4, p.55). Kibito used this technique to move between planets. It is possible to not just move the user, but other people as well. Special Characteristics: An ability where it is possible to instantly move anywhere in the entire universe. ![]()
