Maybe there is a weak link in that one has made the other more obvious or worse, but I have difficulty in seeing how one could directly cause the other. So possibly should I consider an Air intake temp (IAT) ?į driven it feels likes it's missing slightly then goes into limp mode, but no airflow fault at the moment.Īt the moment, it is looking to me like the injector and MAF / airflow problems are separate. I've read on another f orum if getting the fault code P00BD - Mass or Volume Air Flow "A" Circuit Range/Performance - Air Flow Too High then fitting a n ew Air Charge Temperature Sensor solved the issue. Is it likely the faulty injector could have been causing mis-readings as would be running lean with faulty injector and airflow would then have been too high ? I assume it's also ok just to replace the faulty injector 2 as they are very expensive item. Later after testing for leaks the garage stated it's now come up with a different fault code now for injector 2. Garage tried a smoke test to check for leaks around inter cooler pipes and couldn't find anything. So was thinking maybe could be a boost leak such as a split house or damaged pipe between turbo and inlet manifold. The garage fitted a new air flow sensor and cleared code, but it came back as soon as car was driven over 3000rpm. Read the fault code which stated P00BD MAF "A" Circuit Range/Performance Flow Too High. My car has a 2011 Ford 1.6 TDCI engine 115PS and if I took the revs to around 3000prm, so it was coming on boost then got the engine management light and limp mode.
